Karen Grisevich, Founder & Owner
Karen founded GrowRVA to bring European style open air markets to the Richmond area. The markets combine her love of art and food with her passion for supporting local small business. Previously, she was market manager of the William Byrd Community House Market and childrens’ program coordinator for the 17th Street Farmers Market. Karen also founded Polkadot Arts, a gallery that featured work from homeless Richmond adults and children.
Doug Grisevich, Operations
Doug Grisevich grew up on a small family farm in Connecticut run by his Russian immigrant Grandparents. After serving in the Air Force and 20+ years of the corporate world, Doug found our market through word of mouth and his life has come full circle. Mornings you’ll find him feeding goats and gathering duck and chicken eggs, and the rest of the day spent assisting Karen in preparations for GrowRVA markets and events.
